Montessori Teacher Training Academy was established in the year 2009,to spread awareness about Montessori Method of Teacher Training and Empower women especially urban and Rural areas. Mrs. Prathima Rudresha who leads Montessori Teacher Training Academy Bangalore, basically hails from a family of Teachers. She has a Diploma in Computer Science from SJP before transitioning from Engineering back ground to Early Childhood Education, driven by her passion towards Montessori Principles and to make Montessori Education accessible across Karnataka.
She completed Primary Course of Training in the Montessori method of Education from Indian Montessori Training Center (IMTC), under the guidance of Mrs Meenakshi Shivaramakrishnan and Mr. Anantha Padmanabha.
